This was the first song Wayne Manderson wrote and recorded. It was also the last song produced, mixed, and published. This was because Wayne “threw everything including the kitchen sink” in this song. He had to make changes “adjusted for reality”, however, after the first mastering session. The first iteration included more cinematic orchestration and had a totally different emotional feel. This song is more modern and has a more soulful feel than the original.
